Trippin tales

Travels, there've been a few.
My travel tally won't stand up to a world travelers', There are plenty of folks -- some way younger than me -- who have traveled more, farther, longer than I have.
But they didn't go on my trips.
They weren't there on that first trip, the one to Europe that had epic fail written all over it. Traveling 46 hours to get there, lossing passports, visiting Pompeii on 9-11, running out of gas in the desert.
They weren't there for the trip through Spain, when we became acquainted with the Spanish health care system and I was stalked on the streets of Madrid.
They weren't there when we drove into the Italian village and found ourselves on a succession of side-scraping roadways that challenged the car's driver, the car's passengers and certainly the patrons of the sidewalk cafe in our path/
Not all of the trips were European, though. There was Montana, California, Sedona, Las Vegas, New York, Key West.
I'll tell my travel flashback tales here.
Oh, and there will be pictures, and hopefully some useful -- timeless -- information about  traveling with family, friends and strangers to lands unknown.
